As Clinical Director at The Niagara Centre for Healing and Recovery and an advocate for changing the standard of mental health care in Niagara, Katherine strategically structured her qualifications to address the gaps she believes exist in our current mental health endemic.

My Approach
Certified in Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS) and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) along with Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), Katherine Castello has a passion for supporting survivors of Trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
A Certified Sex Addiction & Partner Trauma therapist, Katherine specializes in the intricacies of sexual recovery—from sexual anorexia to overt addictions such as porn, masturbation, love, or casual sex and cybersex. In addition, she supports partners of sexual betrayal through a trauma-focused lens.
By staying up to date on ever-evolving trauma methodologies such as group therapy, the integration of plant medicines (otherwise known as psychedelics) along with the integration of spiritual and faith practices, Katherine aims to provide compassionate, holistic, and hope-focused care through a non-pathological approach to therapy.
